Founder & Chairman
Mr. Julian Paris is the younger of Mary Leak’s two children, born & raised in New Haven, Connecticut. There he attended New Haven public schools, Worthington Hooker and Betsy Ross Arts Magnet. During his early years, he participated in multiple academic enrichment programs: New Haven Public Schools Talented and Gifted Program; Yale University’s Ulysses S. Grant Foundation; The Connecticut Pre-Engineering Program (Wesleyan University); The Connecticut Young Scholars Program (University of Connecticut) and was featured in Who’s Who Among American High School Students. He attended Hopkins Day School for his secondary education and Brown University for undergraduate studies, where he concentrated in Moral & Political Philosophy and Bio-Medical Ethics.
Immediately following college, in August of 1998 Mr. Paris entered the Los Angeles Police Academy. While working as a police officer for the City of Los Angeles, he attended the University of Phoenix's School of Business (Ontario, CA campus), obtaining his MBA in 2004. He subsequently founded Paris Estate Corporation, a privately held US conglomerate with interests in real estate, fashion, financial services, entertainment and publishing.
Mr. Paris’ law enforcement work and business interests exposed him to the myriad of socio-economic challenges facing so many hard-working Americans. To help improve the financial well-being of the working class, he formed Wealth Creation Technologies (WCT), a financial education and consulting firm.
Mr. Paris soon realized, however, that those most in need of instruction and guidance are underprivileged youth. With the vision of fusing the kind of instruction he received from his mother with the instruction he provides through Wealth Creation Technologies, Mr. Paris established The Mary Leak Foundation in 2011. Through the work of the Foundation, he hopes to encourage every underprivileged child to make business & financial education a life-long learning process, and financial independence a reality.
